Issues with orders

If you need to discuss an issue you have had with an order, please email us and we will do everything we can to put it right

Please note, to protect our contributors we are only able to offer refunds if the item purchased is not of appropriate quality to the product advertised, or materially different from the product advertised. Any refund requests must be made within 14 days of purchase.

Your Account

You can view your order history from your account.

You will receive your order confirmation email, once we have processed a successful payment for your order.

The order confirmation will provide an order number, confirmation of items purchased and contact information for the seller(s). You will also see confirmation of total payment (including any discounts applied), as well as your billing address and payment method.

You can update the password for your account, via logging in to your account and clicking ‘Edit’ within ‘Profile’. You will see a ‘New Password’ field and a ‘Confirm New Password’ field; once you have entered your new password, click ‘Save’ and your password will be updated.

If you have forgotten your password, click ‘Forgot your password’ on the login screen, and follow the steps to reset. You will need to enter the email address associated with your account, and you will then receive an email with a reset link. If you follow this you will be able to enter a new password and click ‘Reset Password’ to confirm. You will then be able to login to your account using your new password.

You can close your account via logging in to your account and going to ‘Profile’. At the bottom of the screen you will see ‘Delete account’. Follow the instructions, by typing ‘DELETE’ and clicking confirm. Your account and all associated data will be removed from our platform

Designsnitch is an online marketplace dedicated to uncovering and showcasing creators within Homeware, Art & Lifestyle.

Designsnitch helps expand their brand reach, connects them with dedicated buyers, and provides a supportive community for creative entrepreneurs.

If you’re a topline creator within Homeware, Art & Lifestyle - you’re eligible!

Designsnitch takes a platform fee dependent on the commission plan you select during your onboarding application.

Stripe takes a small transaction fee, everything else goes directly to the creator of the work. There are NO listing fees for any creator - we’re not ‘that guy’.

For example:

Order value £100
Designsnitch platform fee: 20% £20
Stripe payment processing fee: 1.5% + 20p £1.70
Creator receives £78.30

There are easy-to-follow steps, enabling you to create and submit your application and within 48 hours of your application submission, our dedicated team will closely examine your work and respond with the outcome. Successful applicants will receive an email invitation for a 15-minute call, which allows us to learn more about you, but also gives you a comprehensive overview of Designsnitch.

You will then receive access to the Designsnitch platform, where you will be able to complete your onboarding steps & begin creating products!

Our dedicated Designsnitch team is always here to provide support and help you navigate your journey & you will be able to direct message us from within the platform.

Our platform provides access to store analytics, product management, order management and gives you the ability to chat directly with your customers.

Depending on the commission plan you select during your onboarding application - we have various benefits in both are Standard and Premium plans.

Standard

  • Monthly 1-2-1 call: As an approved creator, you will have the opportunity to engage on a one-on-one call every month with the Designsnitch team.

  • Designsnitch Blogs: Showcasing the best in design. Show the world what you're capable of and capture the attention of design enthusiasts and potential customers.
  • Newsletter inclusion: Designsnitch sends out monthly newsletters to all subscribers featuring, You!

Payment Process:

A customer makes a payment to Designsnitch using any major credit or debit card, and then via an integration with Stripe, the payment is automatically split into our commission fee and the net total for the seller (minus any Stripe transaction fees).

Payout Frequency:

There is a window of 14 days before payouts are triggered to allow for returns, refunds and disputes. After 14 days, Design Snitch’s commission is extracted and the net amount is transferred into your Stripe Connect account, and will be in your Bank Account within 3-5 working days.

As a creator you will have access to up-to-date information and analytics on your sales, orders, products and customers within the marketplace, in an easy-to-use reporting dashboard. The reports can be filtered over different time periods (monthly, weekly, quarterly, year-to-date etc), and can be exported for further analysis off-platform.

Customers are encouraged to leave reviews on products they have purchased, which can then be displayed on your profile and on the relevant product(s) that were ordered. As the creator you’re protected against any fake reviews, as customers can only make a review after they have completed an order against that product, and not beforehand.
