Tealight Holder in Patterned Beech

This tealight holder in Patterned Beech is a stunning example of innovative design meeting natural beauty. This handcrafted piece showcases the unique grain and rich patterns of beechwood, emphasizing its organic elegance. It's smooth, sculptural form is not only functional but also a beautiful decorative accent for any modern or rustic interior. The central recess holds a glass tealight insert (included), adding a warm and inviting glow to your space.

To produce Patterned (Spalted) Beech, fallen Beech trees are left on their sides for between 3-5 years and during this time the patterns develop as the log breaks down. Between the time on the ground and then air drying it can be 7-8 years after the tree was felled before we can work with this material. Once milled and dried the natural markings are locked in place and our challenge is to make sure that we do it justice and turn something beautiful.
