I present to you 'In The Beginning' Whites, pinks, blues and magenta are worked together to form a delicious painting with unexpected colour depths. carefully adding layers of various colours bring out those depths. The paint floats off the canvas defining the picture as the paint itself. The deliberate aim to not include the background within the picture has the impression that the paint has been placed onto the linen with the aim that it seems to float above it. Instead of just a surface the beauty of the linen becomes part of the work
