This vase is handmade and is the only one of its kind. First, we weigh out the clay and then shape it on the wheel. Once we are satisfied with the form, we allow the pieces to dry slowly before the first kiln firing. After this initial firing, we choose a glaze that will complement the pieces and place them into a second firing for glazing.

The vase is crafted from black stoneware clay and finished with our in-house white glaze. The glazing technique highlights a rustic bottom while maintaining a clean look around the top.
